These days, it’s way too easy to hear about people’s bad luck - life is tough, and the world is experiencing some of the most unprecedented challenges we’ve ever seen. But that is not to say that luck no longer exists. Most people still get to experience great things on a daily basis, but for these people, they got to have the best day of their lives. No doubt we'll all look at things in a new perspective after seeing just how unbelievably lucky these people got.
1. It Was Really Close
We can easily guess that whoever was driving this car most probably saw his or her entire life flashing right before their eyes. But for those who believe in fate, sometimes, it’s just not their time to go.
This person really managed to stay safe in an impossible situation. A couple more centimeters and this piece of metal could have completely destroyed their life.
2. A Split Second
Another driver that was just lucky enough to get out of a terrible accident with a couple of scratches. In fact, the famous phrase “hanging by a thread” couldn’t be more relevant for this picture.
Things could have been really ugly if a coupe of wires hadn’t been strong enough to catch the car before it scattered on the ground below.
3. Two Bullets Hitting Each Other
It’s needless to say that the probability of two bullets colliding midair is zero to none. Well, whoever was in the middle of this bullet situation was incredibly lucky, because the impossible happened.
Two bullets hit each other before they could reach anyone, resulting in everyone being safe in the end. If luck wasn’t on their side, the result could have been really devastating.
4. It Could’ve Been Much Worse
Many things could have happened in this picture, but luck strikes again. If it wasn’t for the vase being so close together to the wall, that fish could simply no longer be alive today.
Thanks to a probably random placing, when the vase was knocked over it was stopped by the wall before it reached the floor. One centimeter more and the situation would’ve been really different.

Many of us have thought about what it feels like to randomly “discover” money. Lucky for these new house owners, they got to discover their own treasure. After purchasing a fixer-upper, a couple moved in and began working on each room individually.
When they got to the kitchen they realized that there was a hidden safe on the floor. Once they opened, they found a Bingo card, and over $51,000.
6. Falling Off A Cliff
There aren’t a lot of things that are more terrifying than falling off a cliff. This person might have experienced one of the most terrifying moments of his life.
To his luck, the car somehow got stuck a mere second before it fell to the ground. The third picture shows just how deep and devastating that fall was about to be.
7. Just A Bit Of Ice Cream
Advertising can be pretty deceiving, so many of us don’t even get surprised anymore when we get less than what we bought. Be it in a package of chips or ice cream, there’s usually tons of air and very little content.
But to our surprise, this person got the opposite. When they opened their ice cream, there was a double ice cream top.

Arcades are one of the most fun places for any kid and adult to spend some time and money on. There’s nothing more satisfying than collecting a bunch of tickets and then getting an unnecessary reward.
This young girl got the ultimate jackpot when she got tons of tickets worth dozens of new toys. By the looks of her face, she can hardly believe it!
9. Being A Late Bird Pays Off
This guy got really lucky. The workplace was about to give all employees a present for their hard work, but when the boss got there, only one person was working late, everyone else was gone.
So instead of keeping the presents, one person got every single gift. He proved to everyone that staying late on a Friday could definitely pay off.
10. Becoming A Millionaire Overnight
A man who worked on a mine with the aim of extracting minerals over four days of excavating made the discovery of a lifetime. The Arkansas man found an 8-foot block of crystals in the Ron Coleman mine located in Jessieville.
The 2000 pound crystal cluster was quickly taken for an appraisal for quality, condition, and clarity, and was eventually found to be a piece of quartz valued at $3.5 million.

This woman had a wonderful encounter when she got the wrong change at her local grocery store. Though she only noticed it once she got home, she happily realized that the teller had given her a dime.
Completely shocked, she looked it up and found out that the dime dated back to the early 1900s and was easily worth much more than 10 cents.

Think about it, what are the odds? Shredders do exactly what the name says, they shred. But it seems like sometimes they miss a piece or two.
When this person accidentally shredded a receipt, they thought they would never be able to get it back. But to their luck, the shredder missed the part that had the total amount written, which was exactly what was needed.

When owls decide to go hunting, they do a number of things to make the process as silent and smooth as possible. In addition to using their silent wings during the night to catch their prey, they also manage to camouflage in impressive ways.
For example, as much as we look close enough to this picture, it’s extremely hard to detect the camouflaged owls.

Nothing like a bit of luck to stop a bridge from smashing your car, hun? We can’t imagine crossing over a bridge and suddenly realizing that the entire structure is about to fall and completely smash your car.
But this lucky guy was placed exactly where the bridge didn’t fall, making it a matter of centimeters away from a serious disaster.

There is no doubt in this world that avocados are hard. They are either famously too green or overly ripe in a matter of days.
Getting a perfectly ripe avocado already feels like a lucky day. But when this person got a ripe avocado that had a tiny seed, their luck was in an entirely different level.
16. Could Have Been So Much Worse
Another situation that could have been so much worse. It might have felt like the unluckiest day for this person, but when they look back, they will hopefully realize that luck was indeed on their side.
Though they got into a pretty bad accident and almost completely fell on the water, they were saved by a random set of stairs.

Thanks to the mistake, whoever packaged the ice cream made a mistake that went on to make a person’s entire day. The ice cream came with a generous double scoop that they for sure enjoyed to the fullest.

Imagine having a hard day, feeling really down, and deciding to buy your favorite snack. Then imagine that once you buy it, you already prepared yourself to be disappointed with the tiny snack that comes in a package full of air.
But then you open it and it’s your lucky day! In addition to your favorite treat, you also get a bunch of mini versions of it.
20. Treasures Found
Who would think that buying something from a random estate sale could come with so much treasure? When a man decided to buy an old dresser from his neighborhood’s estate sale he didn’t think much of it.
But when he opened it, he could barely believe his eyes. The dresser came with some hidden jewelry, some coins, and a ton of money.
21. A “Rocket” Ending
Someone here was very lucky because one doesn’t want a rocket to suffer a malfunction. But as one commander explains, this is exactly what happened, and whoever was in that tank was extremely lucky.
According to him, what we see in the picture is the tail of a rocket from a dangerous BM-30 Smerch launcher. The rocket exploded but the tail ended up flying off.

Apparently, people do get lucky with avocados out there, which could be absolutely mind-blowing for some of us.
This person bought an avocado that looked perfectly ripe, and when they cut it into two they realized that the fruit came with no seed. The lucky person gets to enjoy an entire avocado without having to worry about a huge seed taking almost half of it.
23. What Are The Odds
There are a couple of things to deconstruct in this picture. First, why on earth is someone shooting an arrow at a television, instead of watching archery on TV?
Second, how was this person lucky enough to perfectly hit the USB extension instead of destroying the entire television? Thanks to a matter of luck, this person still has a functioning TV.
24. Rainy Days
When we park our cars on a rainy day, we don’t really expect the floor to literally collapse. But this unlucky person who turned out to be unbelievably lucky managed to move her car just before the floor collapsed in front of her.
If she hadn’t moved in time, her car wouldn’t only be stuck underground, but she could have also fallen with it.

Here’s one of those lucky moments that don’t happen twice. Being able to visit The Great Wall of China in the first place is itself a lucky and incredible experience, so imagine visiting it when there are barely any other visitors?

The cracked egg came with three yolks and could make either a great omelet or three tiny fried eggs.

Blueberries are usually tiny, and in many countries around the world, they are rare and expensive. So imagine the happiness of this person when they came across these giant blueberries that are basically the size of a quarter.
Luckily, she seems to have a good amount of vitamins, fiber and minerals in her palm, that are essential for any human being.
28. Always Wear A Helmet
How many times have we heard “wear a helmet” without thinking too much of it? This person clearly proved to us all why it’s crucial to wear that helmet, as uncomfortable as it may be. Thanks to the helmet, they get to live another day.
If not, they would have been left wishing that they’d just worn that helmet in the first place.
29. More Pizza
While this pizza brand already sells each package with three pizzas, imagine the surprise of this person when they opened the package and realized that they actually got four?
Instead of getting three pizzas for the price of one (which is never that accurate, but let’s go with the flow), the person got four pizzas for one. They must have thrown a pizza party.
30. Some Centimeters Apart
If we haven’t seen our own cars falling victims to a tree, then we have definitely heard of someone who has had terrible luck. But these two people weren’t about to have the same bad luck.
When the weather became rougher, a tree’s roots failed to stay on the ground resulting in this giant tree falling exactly on the space between these two parked cars.
31. A Gentle Shark Bite
Who would ever think that gentle shark bites actually exist? This woman went through a one in a lifetime experience and was in a way, given a second chance in life. She was calmly swimming when she was suddenly attacked by a shark.
But that day, the shark wasn’t really into the biting situation, and simply swam away, talking about being really lucky!
32. Another Inch For An Unlucky Ending
Another lucky guy who could have lost their car to a broken tree. But that was his lucky day because the branch broke exactly an inch before touching the car. In the end, the car and the driver got out with a scratch and ended up having a memorable story to tell.
Hopefully next time they will think twice before parking under a tree when the weather is that bad.

Banana lovers know how easily and quickly one can eat a couple of bananas a day and end up finishing a whole batch. They are tasty and full of energy, what else could we want?

If one wants some extra leg room, many airlines charge unacceptable fees for that little bit of space that makes the flight more pleasant.
So when this guy realized that he got tons of extra legroom for no extra cost he instantly had to snap a picture and post it on social media. The massive amount of legroom came because the emergency exit had no sit.

When this person bought a soda in a vending machine he had no idea what he was about to experience. The soda can came with a random quarter taped to the top part.
Nothing better than being in the perfect place at the right time. We bet that the quarter came with some luck given the circumstances that brought it to its owner.

In many cities around the world, it’s increasingly hard to come across a good parking spot. So when it happens, one must feel pretty lucky.
This guy experienced luck on a different level though. He not only found the perfect spot but when a huge tree fell down, it made a bridge for itself, failing to smash the car.

When this couple bought a game of MindTrap, all they had in mind was a fun evening with some pizzas, cool drinks and fun games.
But when they opened the old box they suddenly found a couple of rings (including very expensive engagement rings) that are worth thousands of dollars. They probably got to keep the rings and ended up with some filled bank accounts.

It seems like several people are pretty lucky when trees fall next to their cars. While this instance could have also gone terribly wrong, these lucky car owners got to keep their shiny cars for at least another day.
The tree managed to fall exactly in the space in between their cars, and no branches made the situation worse, how lucky!
39. How Did That Lost Ring Get There? We May Never Know
Losing a ring after getting engaged is the worst! First, the rings tend to cost quite a bit, which might really hurt the person who paid for it.
But most importantly, the ring symbolizes love and one of the most important moments in a couple’s life. So after this woman failed to find her ring for years, someone found it around a lucky carrot.
40. So Close
Though the angle of this picture makes it seem like the plane was way closer than it actually was, this couple still got pretty lucky.
They were showing off the many different stunts they can do when people started screaming. Since someone was filming the stunt, they later realized that a plane could have easily knocked her on the floor, or worse.
41. A Small Scratch
This driver was just calmly driving towards his destination when something really weird happened. All of a sudden a pole fell straight to the car’s window and could have quickly meant a very painful ending.
Instead, the person was having a lucky day and managed to get out of the situation with just a simple scratch for the win.

Seeing a roll of toilet paper falling in the toilet is the absolute worst. It’s an entire roll of paper that ends up in waste and a bummer that could have been avoided.
But that wasn’t about to happen to this lucky person. The paper roll could have literally fallen anywhere, but it strategically fell on the right place to be saved.

This driver was about to have a terrible day when his day was saved by a bird. Though he was waiting for his ticket just after he was sure he had been caught speeding, a bird flew by his license plate the second the camera snapped.

Many places have different understandings of luck. In some, finding four-leaf clovers means a lifetime of lucky encounters, but what is the memo on five-leaf clovers?

We all know that several companies pull the craziest marketing stunts to convince buyers to buy more and more. The odds of actually winning the crazy prizes they advertise are very small, but apparently, it can happen.
This woman was lucky enough to find the winning prize, becoming $50,000 dollars richer thanks to a bag of very lucky Cheetos. Good for her!
46. Just Look Up
This accident could have been so bad, it’s actually painful to even think about it. A truck lost control and fell off a road, petrifying anyone who witnessed it.
Luckily, the driver has some angels on his side that day because they got to the edge of a cliff and simply didn’t fall. Thankfully, the passengers survived and had a memorable story to tell.
