Nick Should Run Away Fast
What looks like innocent child's graffiti and joking around turns into something serious and chilling when the coincidence is too perfect. While roaming around his girlfriend's house, Nick wandered into the loft to find the word "Nick" scratched all over the wall. It was his first time ever visiting there. Although there probably was just a boy named Nick who lived there before, we'd say the coincidence is too unnerving.
It doesn't appear to be or hold a particularly negative connotation with it (although the entire concept is downright creepy), so maybe it is a good sign from the universe rather than something to be scared of. Oh, just kidding; there's Satan's star.
The Two Headed Girlfriend
If this photo was intentional and used as a way to show a Jekyll and Hyde-type personality switch, it could actually be quite creative. But the real story behind this man's two-headed girlfriend is more simple yet still creepy: she made a big mistake during a panoramic photo and sneezed. What almost was a cute smiling photo of the two of them quickly turned into an eerie picture of the three of them.
What is even scarier than the additional head in the photo is how creepy her sneezing face is. It's hard to believe that it is even the same person!
He Didn't Even Know He Should Be Hiding
What on earth could Mark have done to cause someone to so creepily and stealthily search him out. Poor Mark parked his car somewhere outside and was horrified to return to this incredibly unnerving note. "You were so easy to find, Mark. You should drive more carefully." Are they saying that they are unhappy with how he drove, and that is why they stalked him? Or do they have even worse reasons?
Mark will probably always think that someone is watching and following him. Wherever he goes now, he will be thinking that this certain someone is watching his every move. Every move he makes, every step he takes.
A Surgery Like No Other
At first glance, there is almost no denying that this is actually a human being. The thick flesh pictured makes it look like some Frankenstein-type surgery that is going on (and without gloves). With a huge sigh of relief, you can rest assured that this is actually just a robot, and these are Disney technicians fixing the animatronic figure. You have to admit that this is one life-like robot!
This is exactly the type of robot that you would picture taking over the world. They look so much like a human with human hair and skin that it wouldn't be hard to convince people!
The Screws Are Watching You
In this modern world, it has become a sad reality that people are being watched almost all of the time. No one is surprised to realize that there are cameras everywhere listening and watching your every move. But who was ready for a camera this tiny that is installed in the head of a screw? It's so small and innocent that no one would even think to look for it.
This must be really scary to think that people at hotels or at rental homes could be installing these screws in the furniture to watch every move their guests make.
Come on in... We're All Waiting for You
The combination of the leering clown in the top attic window, along with the red, blood-like smears across the entrance of the building, make for a truly perfect horror film scene. Only a fool would walk into that house and think that they are going to come out alive and well. Maybe that is the owner's strategy to keep guests away: make your house look as terrifying as possible so that people think it is a horror film and stay away.
If that is their plan, it is probably working. Nearly half the world is terrified of clowns, and this one is particularly horrifying. If they are trying to be welcoming to visitors, perhaps they need to reconsider their methods.
Grandma's Couch Always Watches You
Do you think horror movies made clowns into the terrifying things that they are today? Or were people so terrified of clowns that they became the main character in countless films? Regardless, the clown is now feared by people all around the world, but apparently not by this person's grandma. The design on this couch has a terrifying resemblance to a certain character from a very famous horror film.
Once you see it, you can never unsee it. It would be hard to even sit on that couch knowing that a scary clown is watching your every move.

The caption on this photo reads, "little Halloween people." Yes, they are little Halloween people indeed. But they are terrifying little Halloween people. Who put those costumes on these children and thought that it was a good idea? What are they even dressed up as in the first place? We know Halloween is supposed to be spooky, but we don't want children getting scared of their own reflections! But apparently, these people did.
Whatever they are meant to be dressed up as, it probably would have been better if this picture didn't survive the test of time.
The Hospital Was Not so Abandoned After All
What everyone thought to be a completely abandoned hospital (judging by the looks of it, there is no reason to think otherwise) turned out to be somewhat inhabited. Who lived in the abandoned building, or at least visited it? That is something no one will ever know unless that person happens to be reading this. Just one light on in the entire hospital is enough to scare anyone and give them nightmares.
Perhaps it is simply the ghost of someone who used to be hospitalized at the hospital or someone who worked there. Maybe they had good memories there and liked to go back for visits in the empty halls.
Your Doorbell Detected a Visitor
Some people choose to get notifications on their phones when they have movement or visitors on their property. This person may have regretted the decision to get such notifications after seeing this one in the middle of the night. Although night cameras (especially those on security systems) don't always portray people in the best light, they were not expecting anyone and this person seems overly curious and creepily interested in this property.
Why didn't they just knock on the door if they wanted to say hello? Although that arguably would be equally as creepy, there is something a bit worse about lurking around stealthily.
The Centipede From Your Worst Nightmare
How big do you think a centipede can grow to be? Did you ever imagine that there would be one this enormous? It literally looks like something out of a horror film, something that could easily take over the world. Apparently, these creatures are pretty common in Japan. Although pretty much harmless (if you don't take into account the heart attack risk when you first see it), there is no denying that anyone would want to avoid them.
If you didn't know any better, you would be inclined to think that this was in Australia, the land of terrifying creatures. Who knew Japan had such scary things as well?
Don't Step Too Close
Somewhere in the United States of America, you will find what is known as The Black Crack. It is a fissure along a trail in Canyonlands National Park in Utah, and it extends for 65 feet! The people standing on the edge (and even leaning over to look in) are among the brave in the world. Who would voluntarily take this risk knowing that they could drop into the abyss at any given moment?
Few people (if any) have ever actually gone down into this black crack of mystery. It is unclear if anyone who has gone down has returned, and no one truly knows what is hidden in the blackness.
The Lone Red Balloon
If you have never read the famous book or seen the movie It, maybe now is not the best time. You can happily look at this picture and not understand how truly creepy it is. For those in the crowd who do understand the reference, try to imagine this worker's fear when they walked the empty hallways of the mall at 4 am and saw this sole red balloon floating around.
They would most certainly think this was the beginning of the end. They must have looked behind their back for Pennywise everywhere they went that night (and every night afterward).
The Mysterious Man in the Corner of the Computer Screen
No one likes to get an error message when they are on their computer. Everyone just wants things to run smoothly and easily so they can continue working on whatever they have on their computer. Things get even worse when a mysterious webcam with a stranger seemingly doing some hacking work appears on the bottom of the computer screen right along with the error message. Is he trying to fix the problem or the one causing it?
It would be hard to use that computer ever again as it would always seem like there was someone there, watching at all times your every move.
Something Isn't Quite Right With Their Faces
At first glance, everything looks fine in this photo. You see the royal family couple holding hands and smiling. Sure, they seem a little bit awkward and stiff, but everyone has bad pictures every once in a while. It's only after a moment or two that you see that this isn't even truly a picture of the two of them. Rather it is just two random people holding hands with masks of the royal couple on their faces.
It's scary to think that they can get masks that look that realistic. In real life, they were probably less convincing, but it is still a very disturbing sight.
The Mosquito Take Over of the World
It wouldn't be too hard to believe that one day mosquitos could take over the world. Heck, they have so much control over us and our emotions (if we are frustrated or angry) that they have more power than you would think. Imagine if they were as large as this one appears to be in this photo. Of course, it is simply a picture with a strange perspective, but it is a terrifying thought nonetheless.
Look how calmly everyone is walking around despite the world take over that is happening by this mosquito. They don't even have any idea what is going on!
That Baby Monitor Needs to Be Returned ASAP
Imagine having a new baby in the family and putting it to sleep in the room next to yours. You think everything is normal, but you turn on the new video baby monitor just to make sure. You are shocked and horrified by what is before your eyes. Is this your child, or is this just a possessed doll that has taken over the camera space? Who knows which would be worse.
The parents probably regret getting that baby monitor now, and it most likely doesn't seem like the best idea after all. Maybe it's better just to have the baby sleep in the same room as them.
The Devil's Fingers Fungus
For part one of the world's most terrifying fungi in existence, you are presented with "The Devil's Fingers Fungus." Yes, it is a real fungus. Is it actually the devil's fingers? No one knows for certain. Either way, everything about this fungus screams to stay away. So even if it is perfectly safe and not poisonous, it wouldn't be advised to get too close. Just look at the bright pink and the sharp teeth-like insides!
There are so many different layers to this fungus it is truly quite amazing (if you aren't too busy being terrified). It looks somewhat like a venus fly trap but then also looks unlike anything else in the world. You can see why it was nicknamed The Devil's Fingers.
She Does Not Want to Mask Her Identity
One of the biggest complaints people had while wearing masks is that it made it difficult to recognize people, and it hid everyone's faces. This woman didn't want that to happen. Instead, she created this terrifying mask that is so realistic and yet so unrealistic at the same time. Not to mention that she has given herself a perpetual smile! It must be truly alarming when she takes her mask off.
Just wait until the summer comes around, and she tries to continue using this mask. There is no chance she will be able to pull it off with two different skin tones.
The Hands Are Trying to Pull You in
Have you ever felt that there were multiple sets of hands trying to pull you into the underworld? Probably not, but there is a first time for everything! Take a look at this picture, with its creepy yellow lighting, and feel like the evil force trying to pull you into the dryer. It's not even just one set of hands, but at least five or six!
Although this is a perfectly normal way to wash reusable rubber gloves, who has that many pairs of reusable rubber gloves to wash at once? Something is still strange here.
A Scary Reminder of Your Mortality
Someone really thought it would be funny as their dying wish to type out this sign and post it on the gate of the graveyard where they are buried. Poetry lovers can appreciate the words while also being scared.
To some extent, it is a nice reminder to everyone, but it is also quite terrifying, especially if you were to pass by at night. You could start imagining all sorts of things!

Although this dental training mannequin was certainly never meant to be so utterly and completely terrifying, it most definitely has the opposite effect on anyone who lays eyes on it. Who would ever want to become a dentist or a dental hygienist after seeing this terrifying mannequin head? It is enough to scare off even the most devoted of professionals.
It looks like a pretty old mannequin, so you can only hope that things have improved over time. Imagine coming across this at an antique yard sale. Without an explanation of what it was, it would certainly leave some disturbing questions to be answered.

To be completely honest, this sculpture is probably a lot scarier than anything you have seen in your nightmares. What is even crazier is that this was made by a young girl as an art project. Can this girl see something that the rest of the world cannot, or is she just a terrible artist? You can only hope that it is the latter. However, you have to give her some points for creativity!
Everything is downright terrifying about this sculpture. From the teeth to the eyes to the face, there is nothing normal about it. And the poor parents probably had to display it in the house!

Every culture has its own traditions, and the ones surrounding the holidays can turn out to be the strangest. In the Welsh version of Christmas, it is common for a horse skull to visit the homes of people and sing rhyming songs outside of your door. That is enough to terrify the jolly holiday spirit out of anyone, but if you grow up with it, you might see things differently!
The only way to prevent the horse skull from entering your house is to sing to it, and only if your songs are deemed acceptable will it stay away.
The Fuzzy Blanket With Teeth
Imagine you go over to your friend's house and sit down on the sofa. As you are sitting there, you grab the blanket next to you to keep warm as it is a chilly day. Instead of a cozy, fuzzy blanket, you are created with sharp white fangs that blend in completely perfectly with the blanket. Who knew that your friend's blanket would have teeth!
The most likely explanation for the blanket with teeth is a mischievous cat hidden underneath who likes to play pranks on anyone who dares to come near him or his blanket.
Dead Man's Finger Fungus
Fungi are a remarkable and crazy thing. If people did not know that fungi existed, they would certainly be terrified at the sight of this. Goodness, even people who understand how crazy fungi can be are still scared after seeing this. It's impossible to deny the resemblance to a dead person's hands and fingers; it even includes fingernail-like parts. And to see them extending out of the ground makes it look like someone is desperately trying to escape from their grave.
Hopefully, no one will be too alarmed walking around in the forest and seeing this scary-looking fungus coming out of the ground.

This sign is pretty clear with its warning. STOP. If you want to prevent your own death, it is essential that you go no further. What is so dangerous, you might ask? An extremely dangerous cave that has already claimed the lives of over 300 people. It's not really worth the risk to continue as the grim reaper is warning you in the corner. Do not go beyond this point!
The sad and disturbing thing is that there are still so many people who will continue to go right beyond this point and risk their lives to explore this cave, despite the warnings.

What is more terrifying than a crocodile? Most people would have to admit that crocodiles are perhaps one of the most frightening animals on the planet. However, in Australia, there is something that is even scarier than them and is so powerful that they can even bite the heads of the crocodiles right off. If that isn't the perfect advertisement for exactly why you should NEVER visit Australia, you will probably never find one.

There are so many old buildings with hidden passageways and entries. This person discovered "The Pit" at their workplace after reorganizing a few things. Although it was not closed off or locked up, it did lead to a suspiciously large underground tunnel system. What was going on in this building that needed to be hidden behind a bookshelf? And who labeled it "The Pit"? Was that title already there?
It looks almost too small to fit a human, and yet what else could this be used for? Do you think anyone was curious enough to risk it and see where the tunnels led?
The Suburbs Can Be a Scary Place
Nothing screams home more than a lovely and massive brown bear coming to your back door while you're grabbing a midnight snack. After all, maybe he is just a little hungry, too (let's just hope he doesn't want to nibble on you). In case you were concerned, he could break down the door with sheer strength, worry not; his eyes seem to have the power to do it all by themselves.
Although the flash is most likely to blame for the possessed look in this bear's eyes, there is little that can prepare someone for a bear showing up at their back door in the middle of the night.

Someone moves into a new house only to find in the basement something like this: a creepy hidden entryway/closet that is sealed up tightly and securely. After trying to open it, they realized it would take much more force than expected. Do they even want to discover what is hidden behind these walls? Although it may be perfectly harmless, it also may not be.
This locked-up closet could hold endless secrets and horrible hidden mysteries. It would be hard to sleep knowing that this was just sitting in the basement of your home.

This sign, written in bold, red print, is not going to sugarcoat anything for you. If you choose to wander into the cornfields, the likely truth is that no one will come to help you. Although there is a "rescue team" that comes once a week, there is no real guarantee that they will find you, so you're pretty much on your own. Think wisely before you enter.
This is their creative way of writing to potential visitors of the cornfield "enter at your own risk." It is their insurance to ensure that people have been warned.
What Happened to SpongeBob and Squidward?
This was probably meant to be a cute and clever idea that just backfired in the face of the creative team who came up with it. In theory, putting the eyes of these two characters, SpongeBob and Squidward, right where the car's lights are was a great idea to take over the space. In reality, it turned the two into possessed and hypnotized versions of themselves.

The Four Footed Chicken
Everyone loves a nice little chick. There is hardly a person in the world who doesn't think they are adorable creatures. And then you see this little chicken. A birth defect caused him to be born with four legs instead of just two. Although he is still quite cute, there is something disturbing about this sprawled-out stance of a chick walking on four legs. And he has a pair of wings on top of that!
He has so many options of ways to transport himself: he could use just two legs, or all four, or his wings! His options are limitless; .perhaps he is even a Superchick.
Screaming Rows of Pumpkins
Everyone loves the holiday of Halloween and one of the favorite activities for the fall season is to carve pumpkins. People usually make them scary like a Jack O Lantern, but sometimes people put a creative twist on it, like these pumpkins here. Although it is unclear why all of them have more or less the same look (of a screaming face), it is a nice tradition.
What's even worse about these pumpkins is that they show increasing levels of screaming. The first pumpkin starts out with a little scream, and it just progressively gets bigger and bigger. What are they trying to tell the world?
Are You Feeling Hollow Inside?
It's safe to say this phantom-like statue in Italy certainly is. The figure isn't the only of its kind at Vezio’s Castle in northern Italy. Its empty shell provokes feelings of loneliness and terror. The statue looks like a haunted spirit searching for meaning in this idyllic countryside. Yet, with the peaceful and beautiful backdrop, the image has a certain air of calm restfulness that contradicts the statue's terrifying silhouette.
During the day, this is a sight worth seeing. However, at night, when you don’t know what to expect going up these stairs, we'll give this site a hard pass.
